Hasidism is a religion that cannot be hidden. Unlike Christianity or Judaism, it is quite clear to a stranger that you are not “normal”, or at least acculturated. Evidently, Hasidism has a culture and tradition that do not allow change easily, they are unwilling to acculturate and face isolation because of it.
