Catheter-Associated Urinary Tract Infection (CAUTI) is one of the hospitalized acquired infections. One of the most significant risk factors that result in a catheter-associated urinary tract infection is extended employment of urinary catheter (Elpern, 2016). A lot of research has been conducted in the attempt to solve the problem of hospitalized acquired infections.
