This article seeks to evaluate the social and economic consequences of increased importation of foreign workers by Malaysia from Asia. The report depicts Malaysia as an aggressive importer of labor from Asia has sparked a debate owing to the stagnated growth in wages. The article gives a highlight of how the flow of labor from developing countries to developed countries overwhelmingly in the 1960s and 1970s.
