The engineers and planners have been using the mathematical models like crash prediction model to estimate the traffic accident. However, the most accident on the rural highways has not been fully studied. The focus of the survey was to create a model for prediction of road accident occurring on rural roads. The model was formed for all accidents occurring on chosen region of rural highways over three years. The data were obtained from 76 sections of the rural crash and each section differed between 6.7 kilometers and 0.8 kilometers. The data obtained from every section contained traffic flow, crash data and speed data as well as the characteristics of the road highway and data of geometry.
