Another name for Taoism is Daoism as it is a religion practiced by the Chinese. Basically, Taoism is referred to as an indigenous Chinese religion that is mostly associated with Daodejing also named as (Rao Te Ching) (DeBernardi 1009). On the other side, Rao Te Ching is both a political as well as a philosophical text that is purportedly writtern by the Laozi (Lao Tzu).
