An important element of healthcare is the scope of practice which should be addressed by the various authorities (LeBuhn, & Swankin, 2010). The scope of practice affects the quality of services provided through limiting or promoting access to care. There are regulations which govern the productivity and the makeup of the workforce in the healthcare profession. There are several challenges facing the scope of practice and which should be addressed.
