In his book “A concise history of the middle east,” Goldschmidt outlines the conflict between the Jews commonly called the Israeli and the natives of Palestine. This is a fight that began long ago before World War I, by then the Jews were immigrants in Palestine from Israel who wanted to create a new home after walking in a number of countries since there was strong resistance by the residents of the previous countries they tried to settle in (Goldschmidt 10).
