The children were observed through several activities within certain periods of time. The study involved many research topics on the children. The prior knowledge shows that the experience would incorporate investigative interactions, explorations, classification and sorting of the findings. The purpose of this study is to examine and identify the observed mathematical behavior in the children initiated play (Berk, 2009).
