Dubai is situated on the Persian Gulf coast of the United Arab Emirates whereby it appears roughly at sea level of about 16metres or 52 ft above. The emirates Dubai shares borders with the Abu Dhabi in the south and to the northeast side lies the Sahrjah. The first human settlements that took place in Dubai is approximated 3000BCE, when the area had been inhabited by the nomadic cattle herders.
