Community Nursing (Santa Fe County, New Mexico)

It is exciting to think about the power nurses have to make significant changes in the social fabric as a result of action.  Addressing social issues depends largely on keeping the nurse out front, where both colleagues and the public can see and benefit from their commitment (Feldman & Lewenson, 2000).  This writer intends to make a social impact personally, professionally, and spiritually in order to provide good to all of humanity by becoming involved on many different levels.
