To reduce the impact of major incidences such as disasters and terrorist attacks, the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) did publish a new standard called “ISO 22320:2011, Societal security – Emergency management – Requirements for incident response”. It outlines the best practice that countries including Saudi Arabia can use to establish a command or control center, as well as information management, and decision support amongst other things when faced with disaster.
