Service learning is concept which has been applicable in the education world for a couple of many years since the early 1930’s. According to John Dewey, he believed that learning was attained through social interactions which were taking place through different people across the globe while others authors believed that learning took place in a realistic setting. Basically, one would define service learning as an experience which facilitates the acquisition of factors like; knowledge, skills, awareness and promotion to a personal commitment of students in their classwork
