Buddhism

Buddhism is an ancient religion practiced in India. Siddhartha Gautama is referred to as the leader and the founder of a sect of wanderer ascetics who was referred as the Scramanas. It was after Siddhartha Gautama death that the movement which he had formed later evolved into a religious-like movement. Also, this was one of the many sects, which existed in the past in the whole of India (Flügel 198).
