To begin with, a cosmological argument is a type of argument which is also referred to as a philosophical argument concerning the existence of God. This type of an argument explains better that everything has a cause and the first cause of anything is uncaused. When dealing with Plinor and Beneditx, it is prudent for us to understand the use of cosmological arguments in their talks. Both philosophers use the cosmological argument to ensure that they break down their premises (Philosophy of Religion, 2016).
