Coastal living has been so risky because of the occurrence of storms in the seas. Coastal engineers and Ecologists have been trying to create natural solutions which are cost effective to reduce this risk (Borsje et al, 2011). In areas where marshes have been destroyed, floods cause more damage to property in these places more than those areas where marshes have been conserved (Sarkar, 2016).
