Globalization has increased the level of businesses since goods and services can easily be moved from one place of the earth to another. However, this easy movement comes at a cost since such transportation must use energy sources (Knetsch & Molzahn, 2012). The cheaper the means of transport, the more profitable is the goods transported since the business will save significant costs that would have been used in transportation.
