The gender differences in mathematics are not new phenomena and many scholars have done a number of researches on the issues. For a long time, mathematics has been taken to be men domain and any woman who successfully ventured into the field was taken to be special and exceptional while some of them were labeled unfeminine by their male counterparts. However, the trend started changing during women movement where feminist started questioning the gender inequities in education.
