Outbreak are public health issues as in the case of mumps, both the government and the citizens have to work in unison to ensure that they fight the outbreak. Outbreak is a matter of public health concern as everyone is informed to be cautious of the outbreak of a particular disease. Serious cases of mumps can include deafness or even inflammation of the testicles, one’s brain or ovaries that remain inactive (Scism, 2016).
