The topic of gifted students has attracted significant attention from researchers largely because of the exceptional abilities that such students portray. In terms of intellectual ability, gifted students are generally noted to be analytical thinkers, besides showing a high passion to learn and a high concentration power. With regard to their personality, gifted students are generally insightful, perfectionist, empathetic, and inclined towards questioning authority (New South Wales Department of Education and Training, 2004).
