The research adopted the mixed method approach that is characterized by using both quantitative and qualitative methods to gather primary data (Creswell, 2013; Ronson, 2011; Thomas, 2013). Creswell adds that the mixed method research design is appropriate when there is the need to use multiple methods to gain a better understanding of the research problem in cases where the gathered results maybe different or contextually influenced compared to identified standards and practices.
