There are many causes and impacts on mudslides. In Lima City, the mudslides are mainly associated with cultural and human activities. The difference in culture among different individuals has a direct impact on the regions that are heavily affected by the mudslides. As such, from the case study, heavy rainfall is not the main cause of mudslides but rather the human activities and cultural diversities within the city are the main causes of mudslides.
