In matters relating to the publication of journals, it is clear that there are two main factions – the North American and the European. The Administrative Science Quarterly represents the former while the Organization Studies represent the latter. Notably, the Administrative Science Quarterly is more popular with over 90 % authors citing journals produced in North America (McHugh, 2012).
