Tuberculosis or simply TB is a bacterial disease that normally affects the lungs even though its effects can spread to the brain as well as the kidney (Horsburgh et al., 2015). TB is caused by bacterial germs that spread from an infected person when they cough, speaks, sing or sneeze to other people through the air.
