My home city is Dubai. There are several activities that take place within my home city that leads to the exposure to solid and hazardous waste. The municipal landfills are one of the biggest sources of air pollution in Dubai. Similarly, the wastes from petroleum production also constitute a large category of solid waste. Therefore, the improper disposal of the hazardous and contaminated wastes can contaminate the drinking.
